On page 80 of the article entitled “Enhanced foods: Hidden phosphorus and sodium in foods commonly eaten,” by M. Karalis and L. Murphy-Gutekunst (J Ren Nutr 16:79-81, 2006), Sunny Delight should not be listed as a beverage with less than 40 mg of phosphorus per serving. Sunny Delight has approximately 90 mg of phosphorus per 8 ounce serving.
